“HelloOrganics” is a brand-new online shop, which I support together with Lisa Fresser since the summer semester 2018. The online shop offers various high-quality organic textiles, which are mostly “GOTS” certified.
Our main tasks included the creation of a logo with a matching design for the homepage and the photography of various textile samples for the homepage and other advertising measures (Instagram, Facebook, postcards etc.).
Logo and Website
GOAL
HelloOrganics is a unique online shop, because of its organically grown and especially certified textile products, a fact that should also be reflected in the logo and design of the homepage.
For the launch of the online shop and the necessary advertising measures, high-quality photos of the textiles had to be taken. The focus here was clearly on presenting the high quality and the special patterns of the textiles.

PROCESS
The colour green symbolizes nature. Playful writing in combination with a green tree conveys sustainability and “green thinking”. Playing with two different shades of green was done to make the logo more interesting. This idea was taken from natural trees which have some leaves that appear lighter or others darker.

Textiles are purchased by customers of all ages, so the large number of different fabrics must be structured as clearly and intuitively as possible.
We decided to use a 4 x 3 matrix to display the different types of materials in circles with grey descriptions below. If a textile type is selected, the available fabrics of the textile type are shown on a sub-page with the related price and product name. In addition, a FAQ menu, a contact button and the shopping cart are available in the head line.

RESULT
The Wix-based homepage received very positive feedback from most customers. Due to its simple structure, the business operator can edit the homepage independently and keep it up to date.
